Championship: Bolek Wins the Title

$3,500 Championship No Limit Hold’em (Re-Entry)
Level 31:  Blinds 60k/120k/20k ante

The heads up match was quick work by Chris Bolek in less than one level. They started with relatively equal stacks but Bolek won every major pot against Sean Winter until he held a more than 15-to-2 chip lead.

They were in the process of figuring out the next break when Winter took a shot with Ah5c and Bolek had a chance to win with TsTd.

Bolek’s dominating hand all but locked it up when he flopped a set on the QcTh6d board. Winter was drawing thin to running miracle cards but the 3d had him drawing dead to runner-up position.

Bolek won the hand, the title, and redemption after losing a championship heads up match just a few weeks ago to Ryan Van Sanford.
