Kelly Minkin has obviously watched Jamie Gold’s past poker performances on television. Either that or she’s figured him out quickly. With the board completed and showing Minkin checked over to Gold who quickly put out a bet of 10,000. Minkin wasted little time in putting out the call and Gold grinned, looking very much like the cat that ate the canary, as he turned over for bottom pair.

Minkin turned over for a pair of sixes prompting Gold to say to her “nice call.”

“Thanks,” said Minkin, as she stacked the chips formerly belonging to the 2006 WSOP Main Event Champion.

“Didn’t bet enough I guess,” said Gold, who still was sitting with a comfortable stack of over 100,000.
