Phil Hui kicked things off by winning the $400 Limit Omaha 8 tournament, Michael Rosenberg won the 600 Mixed PLO last night, and Yuval Bronshtein put his name at the top of our all-time win list (tied) with his tenth trophy after capturing the $1,100 Deep Stack 5-Card PLO title.

There’s a lot to unpack with Event 23 at 4 pm. The $1,100 buy-in tournament is a Pot Limit Omaha 8 tournament with deep stacks and a six-max format and a two-day structure to give them plenty of play.

They’ll sit down to 20K stacks, and all levels will last 30 minutes. Late registration and unlimited re-entries are available until the start of Level 9 at 8:30 pm. They will cruise through their day and finish when seven players remain. The final table will return tomorrow at 1 pm to play for the title.

The $400 Seniors 50+ is having a great turnout and there’s still time to add it up with registration open until 3:30 pm. We are racking up one of the biggest fields for this event and we’ll see where the end up.

Some friendly faces including legend Kathy Liebert, Judy Bielan, Scott Robbins, Paula Alibrandi, Paul Balzano, Mike Beasley, Nancy Birnbaum, and Nancy Thomas.

Bielan was able to catch a flight from the frigid Northeast and down in time to catch the LHPO action as it builds toward the Championship. She’s coming off a huge score, banking $236K in the $10,000 Wynn Seniors Event. Bielan will be going over some of her hands from that event with Hollywood favorite Faraz Jaka tomorrow.

Late registration is available until the start of Level 9 at 5:30 pm and players may re-enter during that time if they wish. They’ll take off for a 45-minute dinner break at 7 pm and return to find our Triple Stud champ.
