Seminole Hard Rock “Rock ‘N’ Roll Poker Open” returns to Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino on November 13 – December 3, 2014. The series features 20 main events along with several secondary events and qualifiers. Pro players Jared Jaffee, Matt Affleck and Faraz Jaka confirmed they will be playing in the RRPO $2 Million Guaranteed Championship, starting November 28th.
Jared Jaffee, a 33-year-old Staten Island, New York native began his full time poker career just 5 years ago and has amassed more than $2 Million in live career tournament earnings. On July 3, 2014 Jaffee took first place in a World Series of Poker tournament and took home his biggest earning of $405,428. He carries a World Poker Tour Title and World Series of Poker bracelet, an accomplishment few poker pros can claim.
Matt “McMatto”Affleck, a 27-year-old Washington State native began his career as a well-respected online poker player, specializing in tournaments and taking down some of the most prestigious titles in online poker. Affleck began his live tournament career in 2008 and by 2010 had amassed over $1 Million in earnings, taking home first place in the PokerStars 2009 Spring Championship of Online Poker (SCOOP) Event and fifteenth place in the 2010 41st Annual World Series of Poker Main Event.
Faraz Jaka, a 29-year- old from San Jose, California quickly earned the nickname “The Toilet” by playing any two suited hole cards with the intent to draw a flush. Since, Jaka has adopted the tag as his online alias and the moniker stuck. After a remarkable online run in 2007, Jaka took his chances in live tournaments where he has amassed over $4 Million in earnings. His biggest career cash came in 2009, taking second place in the World Poker Tour Bellagio Cup V Championship Event, earning $774,870. A talent of the highest level, Jaka will be a feared opponent at the tables for year to come.
