Bob Mather raised from the hijack to 175,000, Adam Zeltser moved all in from the small blind for 1,175,000, and Mather called with AsAh and a slightly larger stack.

Zeltser turned over KhKd, and needed to improve to stay alive.

The flop came Ad7c5d, and Mather took a huge lead with a set of aces.

But the turn card was the 8d, giving Zeltser outs with a diamond flush draw.

The river card was — the Jd.

Zeltser leapt out of his seat, shouting in celebration so the entire room could hear. He danced away from the table to continue celebrating for a few moments, but then returned to the table, apologetic but still on a high.

“Sorry about that,” said Zeltser. “Sorry about my unprofessionalism. I apologize.”

It wasn’t much comfort to Mather, who was knocked all the way down to just three big blinds.

Adam Zeltser  –  2,500,000  (33 bb)
Bob Mather  –  200,000  (3 bb)

Action will continue tonight until the field is down to the final nine players for tomorrow’s final table.
