The clock strikes 11 a.m. and tournament supervisor Jordan Cutter is in the midst of the Flight E “shuffle up and deal” announcement. In the next few seconds, cards will be in the air for the fifth of six starting flights in Event 3 of the $1M Escalator Series. The combined field sits at 714 entries meaning today’s 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. flights need to draw a combined 286 entries to meet the $300,000 guarantee.

Friday has come to a close here at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino Hollywood. Flight C and D of the $1M Escalator Series are officially behind us and next up are the final two flights — Flight E and F — set to take place Saturday.

Flight D has concluded here in the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino poker room. Action began at 6 p.m. local time with a field of 198 entries and narrowed to just 29 following 14 levels. With 286,000, it was Staffan Lind who bagged the chip lead.

Complete chip counts through Flight D will be posted Saturday around 9 a.m. Through four flights, the field stands at 714 with 105 heading to Day 2.

Flight C of the $350 buy-in, $300,000 guaranteed $1M Escalator Series event began today at 11 a.m. with 169 entries. Following 14 levels of play, the field narrowed to 23 with Dan Weitzenkorn going home as the flight and overall chip leader.
