Tournament staff closed the doors on Day 1A of Event 1 with a final tally of 336 entrants. They created more than $100,000 of the $500,000 guaranteed prize pool with five more flights to go.

Dustin Murphy is taking his turn on top of the chips counts with Paul Vieira joining him as the only other player over 100,000.

Table 29 is getting interesting with some recent additions and seat changes. Murphy was already there with his big stack facing Abbey Daniels and Stuart Paterson at the other end before they were joined by Juliet Yarina and local legend Zach Kessler.

They will play six more levels before bagging up with the survivors returning for Day 2 on Sunday.
