Players Remaining: 17
Average Stack: 116,000 (38 bbs)
The Purple Chip Bounty tournament had the second biggest buy-in the Lucky Hearts Poker Open schedule and it will take two days to find the champion.
The tournament drew 165 entrants and 17 of them survived the first day and return today to play down to a winner. They moved into the money shortly before they stopped play and everyone is guaranteed at least $2,513. Joey Couden leads the way while Justin Zaki and Edward Gilfillan need to pick up an early double.
They are still deep and will have to work to pick up every purple chip they can get. Players are unbagging their chips and cards will be in the air shortly.
