With 17 players remaining, the Eight-Handed Turbo just started playing hand-for-hand on the Money Bubble. The final eight players are guaranteed at least $2,003 each.

In the last hand before the break, Jake Bazeley moved all in under the gun for 11,500. Raman Afanasenka called from the small blind, and Michael Benko called from the big blind.

The flop came Ad7c6h, Afanasenka bet into the dry side pot, and Benko folded.

There was still action pending at another table, so the players had to wait before revealing their cards. Bazeley gathered up his things and put on his backpack, ready to leave, and looked to be in a hurry to get out of there.

One of the players at their table left to begin his break, and Marcus Stein said, “If you leave, you’re gonna miss the best slowroll.”

Eventually, the other hand wrapped up, and it was time to reveal their cards.

Afanasenka showed Ah9d, and Bazeley turned over — AsAc for top set.

The turn card was the 3c, the river card was the 5d, and Bazeley won the pot with his set of aces to triple up in chips.

Bazeley laughed and said, “I just angled the whole room.”
