$600 Deep Stack No Limit Hold’em (Re-Entry)
$1,000,000 Guaranteed | Structure
Level 12: 1,000/2,000 with a 2,000 ante
Flight D Players Remaining: 189 of 692
The players returned from break to begin Level 12, with increased blinds of 1,000-2,000 with a 2,000 ante.
A scan of the field during the break turned up only two players with at least 200K in chips:
1. Noah Lewis – 245,500 (123 bb)
2. Brandon Duvdivani – 236,000 (118 bb)
Lewis was tied for the chip lead at the last break, and increased his stack by about 50% to stay on top.
For his part, Duvdivani built up a lot of his big stack by picking up pocket aces in a three-way all-in situation to knock out two players (details can be found by clicking here).
With 189 players remaining from a flight of 692 entries, the average chip stack is about 72,000 (36 big blinds).
Action will continue tonight until there are 70 players left, and everyone who bags chips will be in the money and advance to Day 2, which begins Sunday at 1:00 pm.
