According to Michael Newman, Miquel rose to the big stack after the pair butt heads in an aces-versus-nines battle. Newman, who held about 200,000 chips, owned the aces while Miquel had the nines. Unfortunately for Newman, the flop was out and it laid giving Miquel a set. The pair got it all in and Newman never improved.
