Matt Ehrlich opened to 1,200 in early position, and SHRP Team Member Jessica Dawley three-bet to 4,000 a few seats over. This is the friendliest table in the room, and when action folded back around to Ehrlich, he started to chat. At one point he said to Dawley, “You’re one of my poker heroes.”

“You have terrible poker heroes,” Jon Borenstein chimed in, drawing a laugh from the table.

After about 30 seconds of back-and-forth banter, Ehrlich moved all in for 16,975, and Dawley called to put him at risk. “There are only a few hands that beat me,” Ehrlich said.

“She has one of them,” someone at the table correctly surmised.

The board came , and even Dawley had to laugh at the run-out. Ehrlich doubled up with quad queens.
