Seminole Hard Rock Poker Open Schedule Highlights Announced For 33-Event Series Running August 8 – August 29

HOLLYWOOD, Fla. (June 3, 2013) – Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood has announced schedule highlights for its Seminole Hard Rock Poker Open that runs August 8 – 29, 2013. The Main Event will be held August 22 – 29 and will feature a $10 million guaranteed payout – the largest guaranteed payout in the world.

The unprecedented tournament kicks-off with Event #1 on Thursday, August 8 at 7 p.m. with a No Limit Hold ’em Deep Stack $350 buy-in featuring a $500,000 guaranteed prize pool and continues through Sunday, August 11.

Event #6 keeps the momentum high Monday, August 12 through Wednesday, August 14 with a No Limit Hold ‘em Deep Stack $150,000 guaranteed prize pool. A $125 buy-in secures a spot in this profitable play.

Upping the ante even further, No Limit Hold ‘em Deep Stack Event #7 taking place Thursday, August 15 through Saturday, August 17 requires a $560 buy-in for a chance at a $1 million guaranteed prize pool.

Newly added, Event #23, the High Roller Tournament, on Monday, August 26 at 2 p.m., offers a $500,000 guaranteed payout for a $20,000 buy-in.

The grand finale Championship Event (Main Event) (Event #21) featuring a whopping $10 million guaranteed payout is set to send players’ pulses racing Thursday, August 22 at noon and will continue through Wednesday, August 28. A $5,300 buy-in will secure a spot in this groundbreaking event with a life-changing outcome that starts with 30,000 in tournament chips. Players may play any or all starting flights and choose their best stack. Re-entry will be allowed for nine levels.

The record-breaking guaranteed prize pool will also have satellite events taking place at five Seminole Gaming properties – Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood, Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tampa, Seminole Casino Coconut Creek, Seminole Casino Brighton and Seminole Casino Immokalee.

HOLLYWOOD, Fla.(May 3, 2013)– Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino has announced it will host the Seminole Hard Rock Poker Open August 8 – 29, 2013 carrying a $10 million Main Event guaranteed payout – the largest guaranteed payout in the world.  The Main Event will be held August 22 – 28.

 William Mason, Seminole Hard Rock director of poker, elaborated that the $10 million Main Event guarantee, which expects to award more than $1.5 million to the winner, will be part of a 33 event series in August. In addition, poker rooms at Seminole Hard Rock in Tampa, Seminole Casino Coconut Creek and Seminole Casino Immokalee will host satellite tournaments.

A $5,300 buy-in will secure a spot in this groundbreaking $10 million guaranteed Championship Event. The series will be highlighted by some other key events including Event #1 ($350 buy-in, $500,000 guaranteed prize pool) and Event #7 ($560 buy-in, $1 million guaranteed prize pool).
