The players returned from break to begin Level 12, with increased blinds of 1,000-2,000 with a 2,000 ante.

A scan of the field during the break turned up three players with at least 230K in chips, creating an unofficial leaderboard:

1.  Mike Gipson  –  248,000  (124 bb)
2.  Julio Abreu  –  243,000  (122 bb)
3.  Eddie Somerville  –  238,000  (119 bb)

With about 320 players remaining from a flight of 1,085 entries, the average chip stack is around 68,000 (34 big blinds). The final 10% of this flight (109 players) will advance to Day 2 and finish in the money.

The Flight E field is dropping fast and they are down to 360 from the 1,085 starters with 109 advancing to Day 2. They will play out Level 10 and take another break as the black chips come out of play.

We found a few visitors from across the state still in action after sliding in late. WSOP bracelet winner James Calderaro and WPTDeepStacks champ Vitor Coelho are from the other side of the Sunshine State but are here today. At the same table.

Matt Bretzfield, Jacob Naumann, and Sheddy Siddiqui are a few friendly faces separated from the rest of the field, quietly grinding in the smaller room.
