Mohammed Jaafar was living a risky life after the dinner break. He was the only one who voted to take the break and he was getting active afterwards.
Shortly after he doubled through Jeff Chang, he gave up most of his stack to Chris Bolek without a show down. Jaafar led out for 220,000 with the board reading before Bolek moved all-in.
Jaafar eventually folded his hand face up and the rest of the table was surprised to see go into the muck.
He moved all-in an orbit later for 360,000 and Sean Winter quickly called. Short stacked Steven McKoy considered coming along but let it go. Winter was ahead with versus and Jaafar lost one of his live cards after the flop.
The left him with three outs and Jaafar blanked the river to go out in 7th place for $73,000.
The live-streamed final table is now set and will kick off on Wednesday at 1pm.
$3,500 Championship No Limit Hold’em (Re-Entry) Level 27: Blinds 25k/50k/5k ante
We were down for a short while and there was little action while the big brains put everything back together.
Mohammed Jaafar moved all-in the first two hands after dinner with no callers but found a chance to double through Jeff Chang with versus to get up to 1,000,000.
Before that hand, Jeff Chang had moved up to 3,200,000 in a harmless at the start. It was a limped pot in the blinds between Chang and Steven McKoy and calm until the board read . McKoy led out for 200,000 and Chang raised it up to 500,000 total.
McKoy took his time before finally calling only to see Chang roll over the rivered set of treys. The hand dropped McKoy down to 700,000 while boosting Chang up.
