2023 Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown Event 55 Champion Thomas Boivin

Event 55 of the 2023 Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown was the $25,500 High Roller No-Limit Hold’em (Re-Entry). A field of 105 entries generated a prize pool of $2,593,500, and winning the lion’s share of it was Thomas Boivin, emerging victorious outright for $711,300.

This marked Boivin’s third time at a High Roller final table during an SHRP major series and his first trophy win. At the 2019 SHRPO, Boivin finished 3rd in the $50,000 Super High Roller for $288,330, and took another 3rd place during the 2021 SHRPO in the $25,500 Big 4 High Roller for $285,460.

His result today is the largest of his live poker career, per the Hendon Mob poker database, and he now has just shy of the $5 million mark in live career tournament winnings.
