We’ve closed the books on seven of the eight flights for Showdown Event 1 and the last is set to go at the top of the hour. The $400 Deep Stack already surpassed its $1,000,000 guarantee and tonight we run it up.

Players sit with 20K in their stacks and all Day 1 levels last 30 minutes, jumping to 40 on Day 2 and 60 minutes in Level 24. Late registration and re-entries are available until the start of Level 9 at 9:30 pm.

Flight H will end when 12.5% of the field remains and survivors will return tomorrow at 1 pm for Day 2.

No one is running away with the early chip lead and it looks like three-time Hollywood champ David Oshry leads the field with 164,700.

The entry count began to snowball after the first break, quickly jumping over 700 and putting a lot of money up for grabs. The current prize pool sits at $1,111,110 but will continue to grow with late reg available until 2:30 pm plus the final flight at 5 pm.
