Level 24: 12,000/24,000/4,000 Ante
Two players quickly went down almost simultaneously and Event 17 has now reached its final table.
The first victim was Dustin Tragethon. Tragethon was looking in great shape to get a needed double-up holding against Emil Soffer’s
but the heart turned out to be the key as a heart flush of
rolled off and cracked Tragethon’s aces knocking him out in 11th place.
Ruslan Dykshteyn was then dismissed from the tournament. After Jamie Gomez hit another set against Dykshteyn leaving him with only 7,000 chips. Dykshetyn doubled up but only delayed the inevitable as he was all-in against Gomez and Sean Yu. Gomez hit a pair of nines and Dykshetyn mucked his cards finishing in 10th place.
Both players win $939 for their efforts over the past two days.
