2021 LHPO Event 9 Champion Dash Dudley

Event 9 of the 2021 Lucky Hearts Poker Open was a $400 Black Chip Bounty Pot-Limit Omaha (Single Re-Entry). A total of 201 entries generated a prize pool of $47,235, with an additional $20,100 set aside for bounties.

The final table featured two players that have a combined three World Series of Poker Pot-Limit Omaha bracelets and $5.3 million in tournament winnings between according to the Hendon Mob. Sure enough, they navigated their respective ways through. In the end, it was Lansing, Michigan native Dash Dudley besting Leif Force heads-up to earn the outright win for $10,945.

“I thought everyone played really well,” said Dudley afterward. “The final table was really tough. We got four-handed and it lasted I don’t know how many hours. Nobody wanted to bust and you could tell that everybody was here to win.”

The 35-year-old Dudley, who is without a doubt a PLO specialist with two WSOP bracelets won in 2019, likes what he’s seeing in the PLO scene in South Florida.

“Omaha is getting bigger down here and you can tell. The cash games are getting bigger, the tournament are getting bigger, and I think only better things are coming.”
