2021 Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown Event 21 Champion Rafael Lima

Event 21 of the 2021 Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown was a $1,700 Purple Chip Bounty NLH (Re-Entry). The field of 385 entries and the prize pool of $385,000 were record highs for this event, with about $192,500 set aside for bounties.

A deal between the final three players took place and as the chip leader, Rafael Lima was officially the winner for $61,267.

The win for Lima comes on the heels of his Event 1 victory in the 2021 Escalator V Series in February.

Day 2 of the Purple Chip Bounty is set to go in the back of the Ballroom with 49 remaining of the starting 385 entries. Thomas Dean returns with the chip lead with everyone in the money guaranteed at least $1,980 plus their bounties collected.

Blinds are 2,000/4,000 with a 4,000 ante and the average stack is 157,000 (39 bb). Cards go in the air at 2 pm and we will hit the highlights along the way.

Today’s schedule of new games continues with the $1,700 Purple Chip Bounty NLH tournament at 5 pm (adjusted from 4 pm due to the huge Championship field). The tournament has a $100,000 guaranteed prize pool and $500 bounties on every player.

They’ll start with 20,000 deep stacks and the first 12 levels will last 30 minutes, increasing to 40 from Level 13 until the final table. Late registration and unlimited re-entries are available until the start of Level 9 at 10:10 pm after the 40-minute dinner break.

Day 1 will come to an end after Level 15 and survivors will return tomorrow to play it out.
