Two in the field are off to a fast Showdown start. Ryan Hoenig won the first trophy series in the $600 Pot-Limit Omaha 8 tournament, defeating former WPT Lucky Hearts champ Darryll Fish for the title.

After two events, Hoenig is second on the $10,000 Mixed Game Leaderboard with Fish sitting in sixth.

More Omaha on the Showdown schedule with Event 8 this morning at 11 am. This time it is a $600 Limit Omaha 8 tournament for some old school chopped pots all day long.

They’ll start with big 25K stacks out front and all levels last 30 minutes. Late registration and unlimited re-entries are available until the start of Level 9 at 3:30 pm.

This tournament will also award points for the $10,000 Mixed Game Leaderboard.
