Jonathan Little just took the rest of Mike Sexton’s chips, and we overheard him relaying the hand to the WPT Live Updates team.
According to Little, it was a battle of the blinds in which Sexton completed from the small and Little checked his option in the big. Sexton check-called a bet of 5,000 on the flop, then checked again on the turn. Little bet 10,000, Sexton check-raised all in for about 60,000 total, and Little called to put him at risk.
Little’s had flopped bottom set, but Sexton’s flopped the nut straight to put him one card from a double-up.
The river was another , though, and Little filled up to win the pot and send Sexton to the rail.
Jonathan Little – 370,000 (93 bb)
Mike Sexton – Eliminated
